An extraordinary legacy of commitment and dedication! Last week, we bid farewell to three remarkable pillars of Omrania: Mr. Basem Al Shihabi, Mr. Othman Al Washmi, and Mr. Abdulsalam Al Haddad. Their combined years of service speak volumes about their unwavering loyalty. As we gathered at Omrania HQ to celebrate their remarkable journey, our CEO Charles Trad, P.Eng. presented the former chairman and partners with a plaque of appreciation, alongside a heartfelt farewell event. Joined by Alaa AbuSiam, Bob Hope and Jacques Khoriaty from Egis Group, each moment shared was a testament to the memories, camaraderie, and impact these individuals have had on our company. Alongside a sentimental gift, we send them our warmest wishes for the next chapter in their lives. Your contributions will forever be etched in the history of Omrania. Here's to the incredible legacies you leave behind!🌟For more photos, kindly visit our website:https://lnkd.in/dCyYFPcw#FarewellCelebration #Omrania

My bosses for 16 years.Mr. Basem and Mr. Othman, themselves, hired me as a part-timer in 2007, then they sent me to Bahrain office in 2008 where Mr. Abdulsalam was the branch head. Thanks, as you nurtured me. I wish for your good health.Continued God blessings to come to Omrania-Egis. Still the best consulting office for me.

[Documentary] by KSA’s Ministry of Culture reveals insights on the design of the award-winning Tuwaiq Palace 🏆 , featuring an exclusive interview with Basem Al-Shihabi, founder of Omrania.Basem Al-Shihabi discusses the genesis of the design that emerged from the consortium of Omrania with Buro Happold and Atelier Frei Otto. Mr. Shihabi emphasizes aspects such as the “relationship between the exterior and the interior” and “the merge between old and new styles.” Completed in 1985, Tuwaiq Palace includes natural hand-cut stone walls as well as lightweight tensile structures composed of steel cables and silicone-coated glass cloth canopies. Lush plantings are concentrated in the inner garden court. These and other design features were recognized when Tuwaiq Palace received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 1998.🏆 Learn more about Tuwaiq Palace, from the idea to the execution, in the documentary.🎥 #mocsaudi #ksa #tuwaiqpalace #agakhanhttps://lnkd.in/de3VvBP4
